Why Join Us?
We have been working in the local community for over 20 years now, with the dedication of local volunteers driving our growth.
We pride ourselves in getting to know our members and using the more personal approach.
We have a ‘no jargon’ policy, with easy to understand information on all our services.
We are regulated by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) the same as all financial institutions in the UK.
Members savings are also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), in short, your money is safe with us.
A Credit Union’s ‘common bond’ is the area within which they can draw their membership, whether that be occupational, employer based or, as in Slemish n the Braids case, a geographical area.
The solid line shown on the map, demonstrates the area covered by the ‘common bond’ of the Credit Union, an area which stretched across the majority of Mid & East Antrim from the River Maine at Cullybackey to the Irish Sea at Glenarm and from the villages of Kells & Connor to Cloughmills.
